I'm Alex, the Community Director; I would like to take an opportunity to tell you about community projects that take place within JCI Leeds.

This year JCI Leeds are supporting Cash for Kids, a grant giving charity which supports individual children, children from groups, children's charities where children are sick, deprived and in need of extra support and every penny raised stays in the region.  The way we are supporting Cash for Kids is through providing volunteers for their fundraising events.  
 
I have volunteered at  3 events in the last month and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute and have helped to raise several thousand pounds.  If you are interested in volunteering for them please contact me and I will pass your details on to Cash for Kids.

There is a 5 a side football tournament in September and I would really like to put forward a team.  Anyone interested please email me Community Director.
 
Towards the end of the year we will also be getting involved in their annual Christmas Present appeal which provides presents for children who otherwise would not have any on Christmas Day.
