Could you step up and be a Project Manager for JCI London in 2019?
This blog post features the role of the Project Manager. The Project Manager is flexible to create and lead major projects for the chamber or contribute to multiple projects according to their own interests. Unlike other roles on the board, it’s possible to have multiple Project Managers on our team. It’s the perfect opportunity to start your JCI career and hone your leadership skills! Here are some great examples of past projects: World Cleanup Day 2018 TEDxSquareMile 2017 JCI London Leadership Academy 2016 World Cleanup Day was a major success for JCI London in 2018, and here is a video of Project Manager Roxana Cardos describing her JCI experience: https://youtu.be/kFRT5Zx4t5M JCI Impact Interested in working on a project but not sure where to start? Take the first step and come along to JCI Impact on 17 October, a training focused on assessing the needs of the London community and how JCI London can provide solutions. If this opportunity excites you, please contact Deputy President Drew Cornies (drew.cornies@jcilondon.org.uk) to register your interest and then complete the Intention to Stand form and send it to Drew by 8 pm on 8 November. This form asks for the reasons you want to stand, your experience, and your ideas for the role. Two JCI members will need to propose and second your nomination. We will let you know if more than one person stands for the role in case you wish to prepare an election campaign. Candidates would be voted on by JCI London members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14 November.
