Easter Egg Hunt

Last Saturday we ran our first JCI Portsmouth Easter Egg hunt for the children at The Rainbow Centre. A great time was had by everyone involved. We arranged an arts and crafts session and the kids love decorating a bag each - these were then used on the egg hunt itself. Brimmming with enthuisam, the children set off searching outside for plastic eggs that the Easter Bunny had hidden strategically in the garden.

The whole area was scoured for treats and with energy levels soaring through the roof, the children returned indooors to meet the Easter Bunny. All the participants received an Easter Egg and had a chance to have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny too. The morning was rounded off with juice and cake and soon enough it was time to go home, leaving JCI and the Rainbow conductors and volunteers in need of a well deserved rest.

Full marks to everyone for a great morning's work giving back to our local charity. We'd also like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who helped out - either by donating an egg at a recent JCI Portsmouth event or by giving their time or resources in another way. A special thank-you to Tesco for their generous donation of refreshments. A huge cheer also to SBA Financial for collecting additional chocolate donations from their contacts and particularly to Steve for making the Easter Bunny come to life!
