JCI Birmingham members met with Help Harry Help Others trustee Tim Andrews, of Hollywood Monster, to discuss how we can work together to raise awareness of the charity and support their aims for 2013.

Harry Moseley's story is truely inspirational how a boy of 10 years old could be diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer yet be so selfless and think of ways to raise funds for others to stop their suffering.

Harry was inspired to make a difference to all people with brain cancer when a friend of his who also had a brain tumour became very ill. Within the space of just over two years Harry had organised and attended nearly 100 events to raise money for and awareness of Brain Cancer. He touched the hearts of the nation with his efforts and helped change the lives of everyone he met.

Sadly Harry's health took a sudden turn for the worse following brain surgery in August 2011. On 8^th October 2011, and after 14 weeks in a coma, Harry passed away peacefully at home in his Mom's arms.

Harry went into schools and businesses, pitching his ideas through the use of power point and was invited to speak at events such as the House of Commons, at Seve Ballesteros's fundraising event Viva La Vida in London and to John Terry and Frank Lampard for the England footballers charity - The England Footballers Foundation.

HelpHarryHelpOthers is unique in its efforts to not only help find a cure for Brain Cancer but also in helping children and their families who are affected by any Cancer, and the people who support them.

Around 1,550 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in the UK, a quarter of them with brain tumours. Our mission is to find a cure, but until then we want to make a difference wherever we can.

JCI Birmingham will be offering support to HHHO as well as fundraising at every opportunity.
