JCI Nottingham searches for outstanding young people - TOYP 2019 Now OPEN!

Do you know an outstanding young person in Nottingham between the age of 18 to 40 who you think deserves recognition for their achievements?

The local branch of Junior Chamber International (JCI) is currently seeking nominations for ‘The Outstanding Young People’ (TOYP) of the year competition before the Friday, June 28 deadline.

JCI Nottingham is part of a global organisation aimed at focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship and active citizenship. The organisation has a strong focus on developing young leaders by involving them in the running of many worthwhile projects which add to and enhance community life in Nottingham.

The JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Programme is our annual programme designed to recognise those who excel in their chosen field; acting as both a leader and a role model in their local communities. With categories ranging from business accomplishments and outstanding leadership, to cultural achievements and humanitarian efforts, we can recognise work across sectors and industries. If you know someone doing great work, there’s sure to be a category for them.

TOYP honourees are formally announced in a ceremony at National Convention, where attendees are able to hear more about the work of the recipients. These honourees are then put forward to the worldwide programme, where past honorees have included activists, entrepreneurs, and many more from around the globe.

Completed nomination forms must be emailed to JCI Nottingham’s Local President Phoebe Benta phoebe.benta@jciuk.org.uk on or before June 28 deadline at 5pm
