How long have you been a JCI member?

What made you become a JCI member?

To meet new people and develop my personal and professional skills 

What is your role on National Board?

Community Director 

What made you want to take on this role?

I wanted to find out what it is like on the National Board as I have spent the last 4 years on a local level. I also love community and what it entails so it really appealed to me. 

What positions have you held within JCI prior to National Board?

JCI Sheffield Sports and Social Director 2012, PD Director 2013, Business and Partnerships Director 2015. JCI Rotherham General Director 2014, JCI UK Deputy Marketing Director 2013.  

What advice would you give to members who are thinking to take on roles within their local council?

Do it! you will not regret it and you will learn a lot about yourself and will gain a lot of new skills.

If you could choose one national JCI event to attend in 2016 which would you choose?

That is a tough one. I would have to say Leap - as it is one not to be missed and it is suitable for anyone from any walk of life. 

Do you have a goal for 2016?

Support local chambers with their community activities during the year and develop their skills in this area. I will also be planning my wedding in 2017, which will be a big goal this year!
