Posted By admin |16 Aug 2017

Money makes the world go round, and whilst we are a non profit organisation, we do have money to manage.
The Finance Director is responsible for tracking what's coming in and going our of the national organisation. They are also responsible for making sure our financial controls are as secure as possible whilst not hindering the running of the organisation. The Finance Director also pays capitation payments to local chambers.
The person who fills this role will be working closely with the incoming National President to set the budget for the coming year, as well as the different roles to set budgets for the range of national academies we run and other national events.
Whilst not critical, it's strongly recommend that you have experience with creating and managing a budget and preparing management accounts, either in your professional life, or previously at a local level with int JCI. As an individual you must have a real eye for detail.
The full role description can be found here. If you are interested in this, or any other national role in 2018, please email ben.hawley@jciuk.org.uk for more information.
