Good Disagreement

At a time when public conversation seems to be increasingly polarised and bad-tempered (as illustrated by Brexit, the US presidential campaign, and debates about migration), there is a need to look again at how we can disagree constructively. Simon Keyes will explore what "good disagreement" looks like and how we might improve public deliberation of divisive issues.

Meet our speaker

Simon Keyes is Professor of Reconciliation and Peacebuilding at the Winchester Centre of Religions for Reconciliation and Peace. He was previously Director the St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in London.  He has particular interest in dialogue methodologies and the nature of disagreement.
