This week we have attended incoming 2014 President Kay Pursers planning meeting. Kay has some great ideas for 2014 and wanted to share them with our members as well as give them a chance to have an imput into what JCI Birmingham does next year.

Of course a years planning isn't done at just 1 event and Kay welcomes ideas, suggestions and input continuously from our members throughout her presidential year. Kay is looking for members to stand as Directors in 2014 and is looking for someone to take on the role of Personal Development, Community, Marketing and Finance. She would also love to find her very own Deputy to work alongside her across the year and to give the chamber an even longer term plan!

Of course you won't see the back of me in 2014, I will take on the role of Immediate Past President or IPP as we call it in the JCI world. I have also been elected as JCI UK National Marketing Director and am looking forward to working with all our UK chambers to focus their marketing attentions and give them the tools they need.

2013 has been a great year so far and 2014 looks like it will be a fantastic one! JCI Brum is going from strength to strength.
