Volunteering is ACE: Step Up Your Community Impact

About ACE

Established in 2011, ACE (Active Citizen Experience) is a volunteering programme that recognises the positive contribution that JCI UK members make in their communities through active involvement in a range of activities. The programme was initially created for JCI Doncaster, but due to its popularity it was quickly established as a national campaign for JCI UK.

How to Get Involved

Taking part in ACE is easy; you just need to record your volunteering hours from the 1st January 2019 to the 31st October 2019 via this form. Activities can include volunteering with a charity, participating in fundraising activities, working with local community groups, or simple gestures like supporting an elderly neighbour. This year's recipients will be awarded their certificates at JCI UK's National Conference, to be held in Belfast on the 22nd - 24th November.

Introducing the Diamond Certificate

As we've received high levels of engagement with the ACE programme, we've introduced a new award category for 2019. The Diamond Certificate recognises outstanding members who've logged 250+ volunteering hours.

Award Categories

  • Bronze - 10 hours
  • Silver - 20 hours
  • Gold - 30 hours
  • Platinum - 100 hours
  • Diamond - 250 hours (new to 2019!)
