22nd March
by Toastmasters London Victorians & JCI London
JCI London
Do you remember the online world where you needed to fix your lighting, use the four walls of Zoom as a tiny stage, add depth to your voice so you don’t bore your colleagues to death, master pauses and podcasts?
Well, this unique great event will bring back the in-person/on-stage public speaking we have all missed - the place where you can be a better communicator to shine brighter at work, where you can use your social skills, direct eye contact, and the gravitas that you have when you go to the stage and capture your audience’s attention. The confidence you learn from practising in this in-person event will shine through the hall!
The nature of the meeting is that there will be speeches and evaluations and then guests will be welcomed to the stage (if they want to) to talk about themselves for a short period of time and take part in table topics (which is answering a question without prep for a minute or so… it's very fun!).
This will be a great unique opportunity that brings two organisations that complement each other to the same podium:
London Victorians Toastmasters: an organisation that believes in creating leaders in extraordinary times and equips them with the leadership and public speaking skills they need, under the motto of “Where Leaders are Made”.

And JCI London: an organisation that strives to make young people the best versions of themselves and that believes in creating positive impact to communities and giving back to them, under the mission of “develop yourself, your community and your future”.
